Red Mass opens New Year’s Law Term

This Monday, 30 January 2006 will see the celebration of the 76th Annual Red Mass for the commencement of the 2006 law term.

   St Mary’s Cathedral

The Principal Celebrant will be Bishop Julian Porteous, Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney representing Cardinal George Pell. 

Those attending will include the Chief Justice of NSW and other heads of jurisdiction and judges of all courts and tribunals in NSW.

Readings will be given by the Attorney General and President of the Law Society of NSW.
