are a wide range of aged care facilities available within the Archdiocese
of Sydney. Some are operated by the Archdiocese, while others are operated
by
religious orders and communities.
Some centres offer hostel facilities,
some offer independent living, while others provide more intensive nursing
home
facilities.
Serving the aged and chronically ill remains an essential
part of the Catholic health ministry. Catholic-sponsored health organisations
provide this population with a broad spectrum of high-quality professional
services. These services help fulfill our mission of
carrying on the healing ministry of Jesus.
